Dr Paul performed a total knee replacement on my left knee in August 2022. He uses a rapid recovery technique which had me walking unaided 3 hours after the operation and my first physiotherapy 2 hours after that. I never had the need for crutches or even a stick at any stage of my recovery.My new knee is far stronger than the original and completely pain free for the first time in years. I can walk, cycle and gym without any limitation. Long hikes are now easy.

Just over a year ago, Dr. Paul's initial advice and explanations gave me the confidence to have the hip replacement procedure l had been putting off for too many years. Mobility improved almost immediately with only minimal physio and the scar has all but disappeared. What l appreciated above all was Dr. Paul's accessibility - all my dumb questions were answered rapidly, some literally within minutes. Dr McNamara replaced my left knee in June last year.I was 70 year old then. I walked to toilet after waking up !
